Triple filtration is installed in the kitchen under the kitchen sink, connected directly to the cold water supply with a 1/2" connection. Filter cartridges need to be replaced - the lifespan of the filter cartridge is individual - it depends on the quality and quantity of water consumed (usually every 6 months). To replace it, simply unscrew the filter casing.
