What waste does not belong in the kitchen waste disposal unit?
The crusher is intended for crushing most organic material from your kitchen, or household.
Biologically non-degradable material
Various inorganic waste such as porcelain, plastics, metals, foil, wire, sponges, etc.
Is there any organic waste that the shredder cannot handle?
Leather items, canvas, ropes, seashells, artichoke leaves, dry onion skins, corn husks.
Do not process tendons and large bones in home grinders.
Commercial grinders can handle large bones and tendons thanks to their higher power and different construction.
Chemicals, aggressive cleaning agents, and alkalis
Unused chemicals should be taken to the collection site for further disposal as hazardous waste.
Do not use sodium hydroxide (Krtek) or other aggressive cleaning agents to clean waste.
The use of waste cleaners is completely unnecessary in the case of a garbage disposal unit. The high water pressure along with small pieces of organic waste will ensure that the waste pipes are clean and do not get clogged.
Do not pour fats and oils into the waste!
Fats like cooking oil should not be poured down the drain. It doesn't matter if your sink has a garbage disposal or not. Grease accumulates in the pipes and makes cleaning wastewater difficult.
In general, it can be said that nothing that is not of organic origin and does not easily decompose in nature belongs in the grinder.
