The control hose fell out.

You can easily fix this defect on your own.

The activation of the crusher is in most cases provided by a pneumatic switch on the surface of the sink, which is connected by a rubber hose to an electrical switch. The switch is either located separately in an external box or, for example in the case of Ecomaster Plus, directly in the lower part of the crusher.

It is only exceptionally that the hose would fall out of either the button or the switch spontaneously. It can happen during manipulation under the sink, the garbage disposer, or the button. The hose could also be mechanically damaged, pinched, or broken.

Problems with the hose usually occur after other craftsmen have intervened under the sink. Once, for example, we visited a "malfunctioning" garbage disposal, when a carpenter was adjusting the sliding drawers and accidentally disconnected the hose. The lady claimed that the hose was connected, but she did not want to be guided over the phone. Upon arrival, we found that the hose was indeed inserted in the socket, but it was just loosely dangling under the garbage disposal. It was an unnecessary visit, for which the lady had to pay extra.

It is necessary to keep in mind that the tube has two ends and both must be inserted somewhere. One from below at the button, the other either from below at the crusher or in an external switch.
