The sink has one main compartment. The sink is smaller in size, so it will fit well in smaller kitchens or where a dishwasher is preferred. Villeroy & Boch Subway 375 is a sink designed for undermount installation. This installation is recommended for natural stone, marble, composite materials, or glass countertops. The sink's edge is sealed with a sealing material, and the sink's rim forms a worktop and is secured from below with special mounting brackets. We do not recommend installing the undermount sink in wooden or laminate countertops, where frequent contact between the edges of the countertop and water could cause damage.

Note: The ceramic sink is fired in kilns and the glaze is applied by hand, making each piece a unique item. It is necessary to account for a size tolerance of +/- 1-1.5 cm. We recommend having the sink physically available when designing the kitchen countertop.

We would like to inform you that this is a ceramic sink that is made using traditional methods – casting into molds and subsequent high-temperature firing in a kiln at temperatures around 1200 °C. During this process, minor changes in the material structure may occur, particularly in areas that are not visible, such as the underside of the sink, which is not exposed to view or in contact with water or dishes during regular use.

Fine hairline cracks that may appear specifically on this underside, technical part of the sink occur due to material shrinkage during firing. This phenomenon is common in ceramic products of this type and does not compromise the strength, water tightness, or overall functionality of the sink. Additionally, these micro-cracks occur on the unglazed portion, which is intended solely for structural purposes (e.g., attachment to the countertop) and have no impact on the appearance or user comfort.
