The COMMERCIAL shredder has a more robust crushing mechanism with a gear ring and a tearing knife beneath the plate, which allows it to handle fibrous and sinewy waste better, such as corn cobs or raw meat.

The upper loading bowl is equipped with water jets that flush the waste and also keep the bowl clean. Due to a separate water supply to the jets and the grinder chamber, it is no longer necessary to let water from the tap flow into the grinder. Using the electromagnetic valve, water is then automatically released when the grinder is turned on.
